How to Spot a Money Making Scam

Hello biz tips readers,

Your free online business tip for today is about how to spot a money making scam website....

Okay, here's the deal. If you want to spot your typical guru "scam" site in a heartbeat, here are some things you will probably see on the sales page, in this order:

1. Some ridiculous headline promising some large and weird amount of money in a very short period of time, like "$27,427 in 30 days GUARANTEED"

2. Claims that you can make this money with almost NO work.

3. Some story of how this person finally figured this all out and is practically GIVING this stuff away because there's plenty for everybody.

4. Testimonials of people who have used this product and state how great it is.

5. Screen prints right on the sales page of all this money they made using this system. I'll touch on this more in detail because there is something you need to know about these screen prints.

6. A ton of special bonuses that they "value" at these ridiculous sums of money that they're throwing in with the main product.

7. A one time ONLY offer of $49.95 (or whatever the price is), reduced from the ridiculous amount that it was, usually between $97 and $197.

8. A bunch of P.S. and a warning that the price may go up tomorrow to the "regular" price so you better get it today. Some sites even have a timer on them that says "if you order in the next 30 minutes." Of course if you go back 3 hours later, it will still say "if you order in the next 30 minutes."

Let me touch on number 5 because this is very important. I learned this first hand from one of these "gurus".

What they do is release the product and send ads to their in house list. These are people who have already bought from them and trust them. So they make a lot of sales. They then start to advertise to the general public. They can show all this proof of income that this "thing" works only because they sold it to their own list. Take a look at the individual income amounts. You will see they are ALL for the same amount or for a fraction of it (if sold through another affiliate) So there is no proof that you will actually make money with this thing other than if you simply try to sell it to some other dumb jerk.

Please understand that the above checklist is a short summary of each bullet point. Analyzing this really gets into more depth, but if you can quickly spot these "checklist points" you have more likely than not run into your typical piece of garbage Clickbank product.

Will you get some results with some of them? Yes. Will you make the money that these gurus made selling to their in house list? Doubtful. Will you make the money they CLAIM you will make on their sales page? Highly unlikely.

Like they say, forewarned is forearmed.
