Stop the Money Making Hype - Get the Facts!

In keeping with the theme of my last post, I wanted to expand a little more on this topic and give you some ways to help protect yourself from money making lies...

We see them all the time; sales pages that simply blow our minds with amazing promises of insane amounts of money. I saw one just the other day that started out something like this:

“Earn $8,500+ Every Day!”

“No Website, No Selling, No Recruiting, You Can't Fail”

And then it went on and on about how this was a money making system where you don't even have to work. They will do all the work for you and all you have to do is sit at home and collect your money.

Do you actually believe this is true?

If you don’t, good for you! If you do believe this crap, I am extremely disappointed. I truly hope you never believe something like that.

The sad part is that crap like this gets sold to us each and every day. The sales pages are loaded with blatant lies and outrageous promises. And the reason that these sites get away with this crap is because there are always new people coming into the work at home marketplace and falling for it.

You don't have to fall victim to this work at home hype because there is a simple solution to this problem... Instead of believing everything you read, take it upon yourself to get the facts. If they won't give you the facts then you know that the person has something to hide.

While this might sound easier said than done, it really isn't. You just need to have the nerve to approach the site owners and ask them some questions about their money making product. What kind of questions should you ask? Here are a few to get you started:

Question #1 - What exactly do I have to do to make money?

This is probably one of the toughest questions to get answered. One reason for that is the owners only make money if you buy into their program so they don't want to give anything away before you buy. But if they have a legitimate and honest online business they will be happy to answer that for you.

Another reason is because in order for you to make money in many programs, you have to recruit people into the program itself. Also, you might actually have to pay to upgrade before you even qualify to earn. Many money making programs don’t pay their free members. So, while they say you can join for free, what they don’t tell you is that in order to earn you must become a paid member.

Question #2 - Are there any additional costs?

This is related to the above problem with having to be a paid member in order to make money. Some programs also require you to buy “product” before you qualify to earn. So it's your job to find out if there are any additional costs before you join the program.

Question #3 - Can I see proof of income?

Another thing you want to do is ask for proof of their earnings with this system, not money that they made just because they sold it. You will very often find people showing you huge amounts of money that they made. But if you dig deeper you will find it’s not because of the system itself, it’s all the money they made by selling the system. For all you know the system could be worthless.

Question #4 - Are the testimonials real?

If there are any testimonials on the site they will usually post a link to the person’s site who gave the testimonial. Visit their sites and contact them to ask if their testimonials are real and if they still recommend the product. They have nothing to lose by giving you their honest opinion so this is a great way to get a true outside perspective on the product.

The bottom line is this... Don’t blindly jump into any money making program. You have the right to ask questions and get all the answers that you need before you put your time, effort, and money into a work at home opportunity. If they don't provide you with the answers you need or you simply don’t like the answers you’ve been given, then stay away from that program and find another one.

There are plenty of legitimate online opportunities so don't settle for anything you are unsure of.

Forget the money making hype… Get the facts!
