There are thousands of network marketing opportunities in the world today. So many that it's hard to choose which one is right for you. This article will help you on one factor in choosing the MLM business opportunity for you based on whether or not they are up with the times. We are now well into the 21st century and it's time for all MLM / Network Marketing companies to realize the advantage of the internet. These companies can no longer ignore the internet as a medium to bring in more distributors, increase sales, and make more money for everyone involved. I have built entire MLM organizations using only the internet. This was done using my website, an auto-responder, and some online marketing. Set up almost completely "hands free" and automatic. I rarely ever speak to anyone directly about the opportunity and when I do it's always because they called me with questions. Using the internet for your network marketing is the way of the future. It saves you, as the distributor, countless hours of attending meetings, scouring for prospects, doing presentations, etc... only to get a "no" in the end. Doing all that is a waste of your time, and time is the most valuable resource available to us. A well structured website and some internet marketing does all of that for you. You can reach the masses of your target market much faster, easier, and cheaper. And your website can answer all the questions a prospect may have, present the company and the opportunity, and allow them to join right then and there. This way, it's the prospect that is using their time to invest in their own future, not you using your time, to hopefully convince them to join you. It is less personal if your prospect does not want to join you. They take a good look at the site and either sign up or not. No problem. Instead of you having just wasted a lot of time and effort, you will have another prospect right there at your website who might say yes. My prospects are given a series of emails that explains the company details a little more than the website, even though the site does a really good job of that, and then sends them the sign up form. I have a much higher success rate than most people doing this without the help of the internet. I strongly suggest all MLM companies consider allowing distributors to utilize the internet rather than keep them in the dark about what they could actually be doing with the opportunity. This makes it much more frustrating to people, especially since internet users and consumers today are much more aware and somewhat immune to the old marketing techniques. Network Marketing / MLM companies cannot afford not to get with the times and start utilizing the internet, especially those that still rely on party presentations as their sole avenue for obtaining sales and distributors. As more and more consumers choose to shop online for just about every kind of product or service, it makes sense that the network marketing community move ahead with the opportunity to use the internet to tap into those potential sales and increased profits.
