Build a free e-zine/newsletter directory. You can do this alone or as an addition to your site (I recommend adding it to your existing site). By doing this you will attract a lot of free traffic from e-zine publishers as well as many people who want to subscribe to the e-zines.

Your listings could include name, subscription instructions, publisher’s name, usual ezine content, etc... Of course you should put your own e-zine at the top of your directory to get extra free exposure and plenty of subscribers!

There you go, with a little work building a directory you could be rolling in tons of free traffic and building your list of subscribers.
